“See The Invisible”

SeeSense is the master European distributer and reseller of the MAPIR range of aerial camera mapping systems.  We carry comprehensive stock and can help you decide on the optimal configuration for your multispectral imaging requirement.

Aerial multispectral imaging helps make a substantial difference in agricultural decision making by providing more timely and accurate information for critical input to cropping system models or integrated assessment models.  MAPIR remote sensing cameras can be attached to drones and UAV’s to provide a cost effective method to assess and monitor the extent and status of cultivated land, vegetation and similar applications.  They provide high levels of spatial resolution and sampling frequency compared to alternate approaches.

The low cost MAPIR Survey 3 camera system include a range of six filter options with a choice of two angles of view.  These are wide (87 degrees) and narrow (41 degrees).  The system incudes an automatic geo-tagging capability and comes with a comprehensive range of mounts for attaching to many popular drones and UAV’s.  When the cameras are used in conjunction with a MAPIR Reflectance Calibration Ground Target it is possible to obtain precise, automated and repeatable data collections to accurately assess current and changes to land condition over time.

Mapir Survey3 Cameras

MAPIR SURVEY 3 CAMERAS

The MAPIR Survey3 is a compact and affordable aerial multispectral imaging camera system offering a range of 6 filter and 2 lens angle options – Wide 87 degrees and Narrow 41 degrees.  The system includes a comprehensive range of drone mounts and a basic or advanced* external GPS receiver to provide instant geo-tagging with every captured image.  These can be processed on MAPIR, Pix4D, Metashape, DroneDeploy, One Button, C3D, MapsMadeEasy, and other software.

*SeeSense include the ADVANCED GPS receiver with all cameras as standard.

Mapir Kernel cameras

MAPIR KERNEL2 CAMERAS

KERNEL is a modular camera platform that can be easily connected together to form custom, compact camera arrays.  Each camera module is a self-contained Linux computer with a single sensor and on-board storage.  Modules connect together with link boards or breakout cables which distribute power and signals, allowing a single port for array communications.

MAPIR Kernel2 cameras are designed to be easily reconfigured to suit the user’s project requirements.  It is possible to interchange sensors, lenses and filters in each camera module and configure the camera software so the image’s embedded EXIF metadata matches the hardware configuration.  These cameras are also future proof.  For example, when a new sensor is released you can simply purchase the sensor board rather than the entire new camera.  This reduces overall product costs whilst allowing your camera to remain updated. Similarly, if a camera component is damaged and needs to be replaced you would only need to purchase just that part and easily make the repair.

The Kernel range comprises up to six cameras per array with a choice of 3.2MP monochrome or 14.4MP colour sensors, 41 and 87 degree HFOV lenses and a wide range of filters.  The 3.2MP camera system includes the choice of 27 filters ranging from 250nm UV though to 1000nm near Infra-Red.
