The CamDo Underwater WiFi Extension Cables permit an action camera's 2.4 GHz WiFi and Bluetooth signal to be extended underwater. This means that users can perform any normal remote control function such as controlling the cameras or viewing a live preview using the camera's App. No direct connection is required to a camera, Apple or Android product however the modules at each end of the cable must be mounted in close proximity to surface and underwater devices to work. As the interface is wireless, the camera's underwater housing remains un-compromised and so the system can operate down to the specified operational depth of the housing.
