Product Description
MAPIR offer a comprehensive range of tilting and static drone mounts for payloads of up to four MAPIR Survey3 cameras. This mount allows you to easily attach up to four Survey3 cameras securely to a DJI Phantom 4 or 3 Pro or Advanced drone whilst keeping the original camera installed. It is possible to tilt the camera plate by inserting a spacer (not supplied); this helps to ensure that the cameras follow the nadir by being kept parallel to the ground as the drone is flying. The cameras are fastened tho the mount by means of velcro ties (Mapir Survey 3 camera clips are not suitable for this mount); the mount is fastened to the drone feet by tie wraps.
N.B. There is the potential for vibration to be transferred to the cameras so we recommend balancing your propellers if you see too much image jello. It is also possible to reduce the camera shutter speed and use foam spacers (not included) to further reduce any vibration.
Optional lens protectors are recommended to protect the camera lenses from flying debris during take-off and landings.
