This Peerless Creations 17mm diameter 1/3″ 1-CMOS camera head is a Full HD (up to 60 frames per second) replacement for ELMO MP50H and Toshiba IK-M51H lipstick / bullet camera. A choice of cables up to 15m long connects to the CCU which features a user menu and a built in DVR capable of capturing MP4 video and JPEG still images via a MicroSD slot. The control unit features external mini HDMI and Analog video outputs plus a USB connector used to communicate with the MicroSD card.

One result of the tsunami which hit Japan in 2011 was that the ELMO MP50H and Toshiba IK-M51H lipstick / bullet camera series were discontinued leaving a big hole in the market. The Peerless Creations PC-HD17 system is designed as a direct replacement and high definition upgrade for these cameras. The PC-HD17 head has the same dimensions as the ELMO and Toshiba originals and accepts the same lenses. The complete system offered here comprises a camera head, cable, Camera Control Unit (CCU), power adapter and accessories.
The compact 17mm diameter camera head has a 1/3″ 1920 x 1080 1-CMOS sensor and accepts the same original lenses (N.B. these lenses are no longer manufactured). The PC-HD15 camera has a smaller diameter but accepts STANDARD M12 (S-mount) lenses. This camera range is capable of outputting a Full HD image at up to 60 frames per second and connects to the CCU with a cable up to 15 metres long. The Camera Control Unit (CCU) includes a user menu for camera control and a built in DVR capable of capturing MP4 video and JPEG still images via a MicroSD slot accepting cards up to 64gb. The control unit also features mini HDMI and Analog video output. A USB connector is used to communicate with the MicroSD card.
This 17mm diameter ‘lipstick’ / ‘bullet’camera system is designed and used in a very wide variety of industrial applications, welding, inspection and surveillance applications.
