In semi-automatic or automatic welding systems the operation and control of the welding head often occurs at a remote control station. Optimal positioning and adjustment of the welding process therefore requires a visual inspection.
The WVS-42 Colour Welding Camera System is a Standard Definition(PAL) camera featuring a fixed focal length (prime) 16mm or 25mm lens and LCD scene filter adjusted by a potentiometer mounted on a Remote Control Unit (RCU). When welding starts this filter is automatically triggered, enabling operators to view a sharp image of the entire scene before, during and after a welding process. A combined video / power cable is available in 5 metre increments up to 50m terminating in a splitter box.
The WVS-42 also features a ring light providing illumination during camera set up plus a cooling water system. The CCU can be installed up to 50 metres away connected via a flexible cable designed for energy chain compatibility. Versions with an automatic scene filter (WVS-41), AHD output (WVS-43), plus a multi-functional zoom camera (WVS-16) are also available
