This Peerless Creations 17mm diameter 1/3″ 1-CMOS standard definition camera head accepts the same lenses as the long discontinued ELMO MP50H and Toshiba IK-M51H cameras and is capable of outputting a standard definition PAL or NTSC image. A choice of tethered or detachable cable from 3m up to 30m long connects either to a power and video splitter or to an optional CCU with video output and DVR.

Product Description
One result of the tsunami which hit Japan in 2011 was that the ELMO MP50H and Toshiba IK-M51H lipstick camera series were discontinued leaving a big hole in the market. This standard Peerless Creations PC-17 system is a good replacement and upgrade for these cameras and it accepts the same lenses. It comprises a camera head, cable (3-30m long), optional Camera Control Unit (CCU), power adapter and accessories.
The compact 17mm diameter camera head has a 1/3″ standard definition 1-CMOS sensor and accepts the same original lenses (N.B. these lenses are no longer manufactured). The PC-15 camera has a smaller diameter but accepts STANDARD M12 (S-mount) lenses and can be supplied with a bonded tube with 1mm wall thickness to make it 17mm! The camera connects to a separate or tethered output cable available in lengths from 3 metres up to 30 metres long. An optional Camera Control Unit (CCU) contains a built in DVR capable of capturing MP4 video and JPEG still images via a MicroSD slot accepting cards up to 64gb. The control unit also features analog PAL or NTSC video output and USB connector is used to communicate with the MicroSD card.
This 17mm diameter ‘lipstick’ camera system is designed and used in a very wide variety of industrial applications, inspection and surveillance applications.
