There are two mounts available to attach MAPIR Survey3 cameras securely on to the 3DR X8 drone with Static Single or Dual camera Mounts. Each mount comes with camera clips and features a simple four screw installation making it easy to remove and transport. These mounts feature a vibration dampening system to decrease / eliminate any vibration transmitted from the drone to the camera. MAPIR - MAPPING THE INVISIBLE -
The Advanced GPS/GNSS receiver for the MAPIR Survey3 camera is included as standard with all MAPIR Survey3 cameras supplied by SeeSense. The Advanced GPS receiver provides increased image geolocation accuracy compared to the Standard GPS receiver thanks to the newer U-blox NEO-M8 module. This standard GPS receiver uses a cheaper ublox UBX-G7020-KT chip inside to provide a quick GPS fix for the MAPIR Survey3 camera. Our Mapir camera systems are now supplied with the advanced GPS receiver for improved performance. When the camera has satellite lock it will beep 6 times. MAPIR - MAPPING THE INVISIBLEIN STOCK -
Mapir have a range of cables for the Advanced GPS Receiver including 20 or 50cm cables attaching on single or dual camera systems. These Advanced GPS cable are useful if either your cable becomes damaged, you wish to modify the GPS unit by attaching to two cameras, or you require a longer cable you can order the cables by themselves! The Mapir Survey3 Camera Clip allows you to retain one Survey3 camera on to Mapir static drone mount.
