Mapir have a range of cables for the Advanced GPS Receiver including 20 or 50cm cables attaching on single or dual camera systems. These Advanced GPS cable are useful if either your cable becomes damaged, you wish to modify the GPS unit by attaching to two cameras, or you require a longer cable you can order the cables by themselves! The CamDo Underwater WiFi Extension Cables permit an action camera's 2.4 GHz WiFi and Bluetooth signal to be extended underwater. This means that users can perform any normal remote control function such as controlling the cameras or viewing a live preview using the camera's App. No direct connection is required to a camera, Apple or Android product however the modules at each end of the cable must be mounted in close proximity to surface and underwater devices to work. As the interface is wireless, the camera's underwater housing remains un-compromised and so the system can operate down to the specified operational depth of the housing. The MAPIR Calibration Ground Target is highly recommended to provide a highly accurate calibrated reflectance values for captured media. The Advanced GPS receiver provides increased image geolocation accuracy compared to the Standard GPS receiver thanks to the newer U-blox NEO-M8 module.
