The Canon IK-HD5 camera has super compact remote head outputting FULL NATIVE HD video utilising Canon’s 1/2.9″ 3-chip prism technology. It is a perfect device for imaging colour critical applications such as those in the medical and broadcast / film industries. The Canon IK-HD5H 3-CMOS remote camera head measures just 32 x 38 x 41mm and weighs only 70 grammes making it ideal for capturing HD images where space is limited. It provides a 1920 x 1080 output creating extraordinary detail with up to 1000 TV lines resolution. The camera head has a C-mount, connecting directly to a device or special 3-chip lenses (contact SeeSense for details). These cameras “work straight from the box” and are feature rich and with a comprehensive menu.
The tiny IK-HD5H remote head camera connects to the Canon IK-HD5E compact Camera Control Unit through a choice of a 3m, 6m, 10m or 15m long flexible camera – CCU cables. The IK-HD5E control unit outputs 1080i or 1080p Full native High Definition 1000 TV line images. At the rear are connections for 3G-SDI or HD-SDI plus DVI-D at Full HD 1920 x 1080 Resolution; as well as full menu control, the front panel comprises the camera cable connector and menu buttons including a Freeze function.
