Description

DISCONTINUED PRODUCT
In semi-automatic or automatic welding systems the operation and control of the welding head often occurs at a remote control station.  Optimal positioning and adjustment of the welding process therefore requires a visual inspection.

WVS-40 welding camera is ideal for column & boom welding systems and many other applications where a compact camera is required.  It delivers a sharp colour standard definition composite CVBS image allowing optimal viewing of the welding head, workpiece and welding arc.

The WVS-40 camera features a small M12 mount 16mm or 25mm fixed focal length (prime) lens.  In front of the lens is a scene filter which removes UV and IR light and features a LCD scene filter which can be adjusted for brightness by a potentiometer at the control station.  When welding commences the scene filter is automatically triggered, enabling operators to view a sharp image of the entire scene before, during and after a welding process.

These cameras also features an 8 LED ring light to provide illumination for camera set up, and a built in water cooling system.  A combined video / power cable is available in 5 metre increments up to 50m terminating in a splitter box incorporating the scene filter potentiometer.

The WVS-40 also features a ring light providing illumination during camera set up plus a cooling water system.  The CCU can be installed up to 50 metres away connected via a flexible cable designed for energy chain compatibility.  Another version of the camera with improved optics (C-mount) is available (WVS-32), as well a multi-functional zoom camera (WVS-16), and a range of smaller fully automatic welding cameras.
