The newly updated V25 / 24Watt-Hour Lithium Polymer battery features two 5V USB-A ‘Always On’ and one USB-C PD output port. The unique feature of the V25 is the use of ‘Always On’ technology from both of the USB-A ports with no low current cutoff. This makes it ideal for use in long-term time-lapse such (e.g. using the CamDo Solutions UpBlink intervalometer) or for extending the battery life of action cameras including Back-Bone modified GoPro.
The V25 can be charged / pass through charged using one of the two USB-C ports. Recharging is optimised for solar charging using Voltaic or other compatible equipment but can also be achieved using a suitable USB power supply.

Recently updated, the V25 6,700mAh / 24 Watt-Hour Lithium Polymer battery features two 5V USB-A ‘Always On’ and one USB-C PD output port housed in a NEW extruded aluminium enclosure.
The unique feature of the V25 is the use of ‘Always On’ technology from both of the USB-A connectors. The battery has no low current cutoff and so will not shut off even if your device is drawing little or no power. This makes the V25 ideal for use in IoT projects, long-term time-lapse such as using the CamDo Solutions UpBlink intervalometer or for extending action camera battery life including GoPro and Back-Bone modified GoPro cameras.
Battery charging is optimised for solar via a NEW 3.5 x 1.1mm Solar Input Port: 5-6V/2A but can also be recharged using a suitable USB power supply fully recharging in around 1.5 hours using the USB-C PD port. The V25 can be charged / pass through charged through the two USB-C inputs however charging via the USB-C PD port (located between the USB-A connectors) disables the ‘Always On’ feature.
Most of the USB battery packs (power banks) have a power saving feature which automatically turns off the battery if it is not continuously supplying power. This issue is rarely mentioned, and users only realise the problem when discovering that their camera’s internal battery is dead even though the power bank is still fully charged!
The Voltaic V25 features ‘Always On’ Technology that will not shut off even if the device is drawing little or no power. The benefit is that it is always ready to support the internal battery of the device it is connected to. For example the V25 can extend the operational life of a GoPro by over 4 times!
N.B. ‘Always On’ will be isolated if charging through the USBC-PD input port (situated between the two USB-A ports). ‘Always On’ output is active when there is no input or when charging from the USB-C input port on the side of the battery.
