Mount, Mapir for DJI Mavic Pro Drone Single Tilted

MAPIR offer a comprehensive range of tilting and static drone mounts for payloads of up to four MAPIR Survey3 cameras. This Mapir Tilted mount enables users to attach a single Survey3 camera on to a DJI Mavic Pro drone whilst keeping the original camera installed and unobstructed.  It features a simple four screw installation making it easy to remove and transport.  The mount is set at a fixed 17 degree tilt that will orient the camera nadir during max forward surveying flight speeds around 8m/s.

While the original RGB camera can be used with this mount, when this camera is looking forward you will see the Survey3 camera in part of the image.  You can still fly as needed, but this mount has been designed for use when surveying and the RGB camera is pointed towards the ground.

Ensure that the drone’s front obstacle avoidance setting is turned off in the applications prior to use since the mount covers the front cameras and may result in abnormal flight characteristics if left enabled.

Please also note that we only recommend using the Advanced GPS receiver with this mount due to the close proximity of the GPS plug on the camera to the front propeller.  The Standard GPS receiver may still work, but it is not as ideal as the Advanced GPS.

Optional lens protectors are recommended to protect the camera lenses from flying debris during take-off and landings.
