Bushman Panoramic Popeye Magnetic Bases are composed of a series of powerful rare earth magnets sealed in black rubber to protect metal surfaces from scratching. In the centre is a 1/4″ UNC male standard tripod mount thread upon which many different mounting solutions can be attached. They are available with a pull force of 45kg (Popeye) and 12kg (Baby Popeye).

Popeye Magnetic Bases are designed to hold 360° VR cameras in position and can be used in conjunction with other Bushman accessories including fitting three beneath the tripod in the Bushman V3 Monopod! However they can also be used to hold any other device with a standard 1/4″-20 mounting thread. They work really well for mounting GoPro (with tripod mount) and Back-Bone modified cameras, Marshall and Gem cameras, etc. The magnetic bases also can be used in industrial applications in conjunction with the Swivellink range of mounting equipment supplied by SeeSense.
