A Reflectance Calibration Ground Target is recommended to enable you to correctly calibrate any images captured by the Survey3 camera. The target is compatible with any multispectral imaging camera and contains 4 ground targets that each have known reflectance curves.  The target material is made from a felt-like material mounted to a plastic substrate.  It can be captured from any angle with your camera thanks to similar total and diffuse reflection properties.

Whilst the target should always be kept clean and debris-free to work properly, the system is straightforward to use.  It is recommended that you hold the camera or drone over the target at the start of each session.  If flying on a drone you should firstly take off away from the target and then hover between 3 and 4.5 metres overhead in order to reduce the amount of debris that may land on it.

This bundle includes other accessories including a Lens protector recommended to protect the camera lenses from flying debris during take-off and landings.  The spare battery, charger and SD card are all useful or required for your system to operate.  All MAPIR Survey3 cameras supplied by SeeSense include their Advanced GPS receiver.  If you need to change any items in the bundle please CONTACT US.
