The CamDo UpBlink is a low power, WiFi enabled time-lapse intervalometer which is compatible with the Sony DSC-RX0 series as well as the GoPro Hero camera range. It provides a flexible, reliable and accurate means of setting different time date and frequency settings for long-term time-lapse. We do not recommend this system for frequencies less than 5 minutes.
The CamDo UpBlink allows image Cloud upload with GoPro Hero 12, 11, 10 & 5 Black , Sony DSC-RX0 and DSC-RX0 ii cameras*. It is also compatible with Hero 6, 7 & 8 Black cameras* but without image Cloud upload. This professional accessory helps unlock the full potential of GoPro and Sony DSC-RX0 cameras for long term time-lapse photography up to 4K resolution. Each system includes a dedicated cable connecting the intervalometer to the camera plus an USB connector for external power considerably increasing the operation time of the camera.
A local WiFi network or a data hotspot is required if you wish to upload your images to the Cloud. If using a hotspot, just plug a compatible hotspot into the USB-A port of UpBlink. An optional file upload service is available by purchasing CLOUDX PRO service from CamDo or you can use your own FTP site. Alternatively you can simply save the images on the camera’s micro SD card and swap out as and when required.
The CamDo UpBlink is one component in what is by far the cheapest 4K and 5.3K time-lapse camera system solution on the market. It is ideal for long term time-lapse projects and perfect for construction time-lapse and applications where high resolution images up to 4K or 5.3K resolution are required. Complete CamDo bundles are available with waterproof housing, bracket, solar panel, etc.
* The intervalometer is also compatible with Back-Bone modified versions of all these cameras. This professional modification allows you to fit interchangeable lenses and thus frame the picture correctly whilst retaining full camera resolution.
