This standard GPS receiver uses a cheaper ublox UBX-G7020-KT chip inside to provide a quick GPS fix for the MAPIR Survey3 camera. Our Mapir camera systems are now supplied with the advanced GPS receiver for improved performance. When the camera has satellite lock it will beep 6 times.

This is a lower cost GPS unit for the MAPIR Survey3 camera which now comes supplied with the advanced GPS receiver as standard *. This GPS receiver uses a ublox UBX-G7020-KT chip inside to provide a quick GPS fix. When the camera has satellite lock it will beep 6 times.
Since this GPS receiver does not have a barometer it is still possible for the altitude values to be captured incorrectly, so some post processing may be required.
The Standard GPS receiver includes a self adhesive backing and is supplied as standard with a 1 metre long cable. Please contact us if you would like this shortening.
